Russian VIN Decoder?

I have found the Russian VIN website to be pretty useful when looking at cars and for at least the last week or so, the site seems to be either down or somehow changed. I can't really tell though because the page shows up in Russian. Does anyone know what the deal is?
Thanks,

Shane

This site seems to be up and down quite a lot - it seems that every time it is down some one posts something here. Try again in a bit. It always seems to come back.

When I used the site for my 85 300D, it reported that I had rear headrests, which I do not have. The balance of the report was accurate IIRC.

The site MBCR has pretty much been on hard times for a couple of years. It's been some time back but I tried to communicate with them about hosting the VIN database in the states on my Web site but never recieved a reply. If you look at the forum and some of the photo posting they go back to 2007.
