W126 300SD leak at radiator drain plug
I discovered a little coolant under the parked car the other day. It's not much, really.
A closer look showed it's coming directly from the drain plug, which seems to be a plastic (blue) plug. Does anybody have experience with this, how to best tackle it without making it worse or even break something? Is there a special tool required to turn this plug. It seems slotted deeply for a regular screwdriver. Thanks!

use a regular screw driver w/ a wide blade. i have seen damaged o rings on drain plugs from the factory, and i think you can buy a new drain plug for it if the plug is damaged. if its just an o ring, put a little vaseline on the new ring when you put it back in.

A one cent tool should work. Or, for a little more money, you can upgrade to a nickel.
