The other day,(the hottest this year) no cold air from vents. Took car to mechanic this morning. System held vacuum. He put gas in, worked great. Could not find why gas leaked out. When he went to put cap on front Schrader valve, we found out. The end of cap was slightly deformed (from heat?)and pushed on valve, letting gas out.
If that wasn't bad enough, something wierd happened before. Couple years ago the refill valve went bad and let gas out.
Strange things happen with this car.
