Today at Windsor Pick-and Pull junkyard (northern California, not the one across from Detroit) I saw the following and thought it might be of interest to someone on the forum.

1. For Sale, 1983 300SD, $1000. Gold/tan, might make a good project car for someone or a beater for someone wanting to learn about the OM617 turbodiesel. I didn't spend very much time looking at it but saw no evidence of significant body damage or rust. I bet they'd take less than $1000 for it.

2. For Sale by Ricardo, an employee, a 1968 230, $3500. Ricardo says the car is in very nice condition but I haven't seen it myself yet. I'll try to get and post some pictures.

3. In the junkyard, a 1989 190E with a 5-speed transmission. I understand that some folks have been successful transplanting these into a 300D.

I am happy to follow up for anyone who would like more information on any of the above (but I'm not up to pulling a transmission).
