Mystery clutch plate

Pulled a manual transmission off a junkyard 1974 240D. Clutch plate lining measures 3.1 mm on each side. Transmission manual specifies to replace the clutch at around 1.7 mm. I'd like to save myself the $184 dollars of purchasing a new clutch if I can help it, but I don't want to end up back under the car in a year or two to replace the clutch. Should I use the old clutch or replace it as preventative maintenance now? Attached are pictures of the part.

Thanks,
Andrew

It does not look very worn at all. The risk is simply having to pull the tranny again. I would probably use it.

I made some notes last time I did a W123 clutch, the overall thickens of a new clutch plate should be 10mm.

Total thickness measures 9 mm. Unless someone has a dire warning to the contrary, I'll use it. Thanks, folks.

Always remember if the clutch plate is not warped or damaged and they usually are not. A clutch reliner will usually cost about 50.00 for any average clutch to reline it. They are around but not commonly known.

New at ten and used at nine. I see no issue using it again either.

Clutch relining Why not, they reline brake shoes, knew I kept those old discs around for something, as long as the springs are good, thanks
