On a 1984 300SD does the Aux fuel pump seal like a 300D,
push down and twist. I have a SD leaking at the pump. If no lock what is the cure. Seems to leak more with engine off.
Also experience some starving at low speed. is this related?
A shaky start of, like a miss then smooth but low on power.
Desperate! have to go to work tonight.

The newer style "has no screw" (spring loaded) and pumps much better.
