What is this part called?

Looking at the scissor lift window regulator, there is this small plastic part that keeps the regulator from going too far down and pushing the window off of its track. I'm doing a bit of traveling right now so I'm sorry I don't have any pictures to take of it.

Mine broke and I'm wondering if I can buy this on fastlane. I can't find a part number on EPC. :-/

Edit: The solution is at my last post at the very bottom.

Try 'sliding jaw' or 'regulator guide jaw.' -

Fastlane: Regulator guide jaw

I just had both my front ones out. They were bent and worn. Thats what causes the frames to bend. It puts side force on the mount. I looked but I didnt see them for sale or a correct name. I straightened mine out but used may be your only option. Thanks

Ok! Sorry this took so long. I just got back from California.

I don't think the regulator guide jaw is what I am looking for. Here is a picture of the part that is broken. The plastic is bent downward which is hard to see in this picture.

This is where the part is located in relation to the window regulator.

This is where the part is located in relation to the window regulator.

That part is only available NEW with a complete window regulator.

Window Regulator, Electric without Motor Left Front

Window Regulator, Electric without Motor Right Front
MB# 123 720 28 46

You may find a good used one at a salvage yard.

Have a great day.

Both of mind looked worse than that. The aluminum mount itself was twisted due to the plastic being worn and shoving sideways on the stop when the window is driven beyond its lower stop range. I straightened both of mine carefully in a vice with a crescent wrench. I then set it upright and cut the plastic to the correct profile with a sharp file. As long as its straight the amount of plastic doesnt matter since the mount is slotted. I also roughed up the back side of the mount so it would lock in place when a tightened it up. Give it a try. Thanks

@Whunter, I was worried that this was the case. Thank you for the heads up. I threw my good old one out with my screwed up regulator

@Docsarvis, I'm going to see if I can track down a new one, but your suggestion is the best. I'll get my file out and start grinding. I'll probably swap it out with a rear one which is less used.

Edit 3: For you future people searching, grinding down the bad plastic and moving it a bit upward basically saves the piece. Grinding it did the trick for me. Door is put completely back together.
