This will be an easy question...searched but couldn't find it, probably cause its too easy! I am removing the inner door panel, and this car has manual roll up windows. How does the window handle come off? Do I remove the small trim piece on the handle, or is there something behind the handle that needs to come off to release it? Just don't want to force anything so thought I'd ask.

The pad on the handle comes off. I think there is an access hole to push it off from behind. Should be self explanatory after that.

Got it. I kind of slid the trim piece towards the center, then it kind of pops off. Then the handle just slides off, no screws to hold it on or anything. Another bit of German ingenuity!
