Yeah, again this site came through !. 85 300SD window no up no down. fixed switch then it stopped again and dropped. I searched this site and there was a very complete article including pics. I combined this with an old Haynes manual
and came up with a little trick to make this even easier ( installing a new regulator) I know that I could have riveted in that new plastic slider but time etc was short. Phil got me the regulator the next day and it is done. The only trick I found was when I installed the new regulator I used Duct tape to hold the spring and arm in a compressed state and this allowed me more movement to get the regulator in place and bolt the motor back on without remove the window track.
