w126 Bosch Euro Light Reflectors

Hello all,

During my weekend trip to the PNP for some random parts I came across a 500 SEL with it's headlights! I grabbed them along with their connectors. I didn't grab the vacuum adjustment bezel, though I think I will go back and get it too for later.

I got them installed tonight after a good cleaning, but the reflectors were corroded/rusty. I tried some "chrome paint" on them and they are OK, but I now want to either have them re-chromed, or just replaced.

After exhausting the search function I cannot find a source for these, anyone know?

Thanks.

Are they Bosch? If so is there a part number on the reflector itself?

They are bosch, if there is one on it, I did not see it. Perhaps it was corroded away?

I don't want to pay for the euro EPC just to find this one part number:mad:

I have one of the switches used for the headlight vacuum if anyone needs one.

FYI: You're likely going to spend more than the $12 that the Euro EPC wants if you want to find a good reflector. Plus, it comes in handy if/when you want to find other Euro parts and goodies to put on your US spec MB.

I had this same problem... after 3 months of crappy spray painted reflectors, I found a set of 126 euro coupe lights with broken lenses, I bought those and the reflectors fit in my sedan lights.

I still have these

each reflector should have a yellow paper label with a part number on it, that is unless the labels have fallen off
