There is no "ignitor plug" in a diesel, it is ignited by the heat of combustion. There isn't enough hydrogen to combust, it needs the diesel fuel to run, so the hydrogen from an on-board generator has so little effect that it is difficult to measure. It does cause drag on your alternator, and a bit of a pull on your wallet, so it is beneficial to someone there.

Second Post shutdown Running

I was out of town for several days, the car sat for the duration. After my return I started the car, to my surprise after turning the key off it kept running for a second or two. But if the car is driven for a short distance it will shutdown normal. What I know of this car it sounds like what vacuum pressure supposed to be maintain it is not while it statice for a long time. This is the same experience when I was waiting for the started (three days) seating.

After all the suggestions I replaces all the old connecting hone to the vacuum lines to make sure none of them were leaking, I can honestly say all were replace. and checked any crack lines.

I'd think that Hydrogen should burn in a flashover event as soon as it get's hot enough in the prechamber and then be gone, leaving behind heat, vapor and less O2.

The diesel combustion is a prolonged event because it's either injected over (I think) 30 degrees or so, or squirted into a honeypot (Elsbett, VW, Hypercycle engines) and burns out of it.

They could probably show you something closer to ether's original use as an anesthetic
