No need for diesel purge now.. We just burned everything out!

Rscurtis, after seeing your location, are you familiar with the diesel shop up your way? Diesel System Service I think..

I'd be leery of that turbo. It saw some extreme heat.

You could have the injectors pop tested, that would show right away if that was the cause. It's also possible it could have started burning a lot of oil? That heat might damage the valves but I don't know if it could have damaged the prechambers like that.

I'm still a bit leery of it myself.. We already planned on having it rebuilt since it's off and most of the way apart anyhow..

It's funny you mention that.. I've been thinking the same thing.. Like I had mentioned earlier, there's alot of un explained oil layin about.. Could the turbo have taken a poo and pumped a bunch of oil in there?? I woudl have thought it would have run away or hydrolocked....
