alternative Vin Decoding?
the Russian mercedes club site is still down, are there any other ways to see the mercedes Vin breakdown?

Send your VIN to the MB Classics Center, they will send you the same info that the Russian site gives you. Sometimes they include a jpg of the build sheet as well.
