Thumbs up W123 BBQ in the Bay Area. August 21st, Oakland, CA

I thought that it would be cool to meet in a park or somewhere we can share knowledge, tricks, DIYs... help each other, exchange parts & tools, group pictures, etc.

At the same time BBQ, BEER and fun.

The idea would be to have the cars parked all together close to our picnic area so we can work/play with 'em.

August 21st. Starting at 12pm (NOON). Redwood Park, Oakland, CA.

Address: 7867 Redwood Rd, Oakland, CA 94619 click to google map it!

See you there!

I don't have a 123 anymore but I'll try to make it anyway. Maybe I can crash my 124 into Nik's 126 and spin off two 123s! Diesel atomic physics!

Edit: A shame Sirona isn't open on Sundays.

I am game.

If my wagon has its cooling system worked over by then, I will bring it.

If not, expect me in the AMG.

If you hit it just so, you might spin off a couple of W125s -

... and no isotopes.

I hope Rudy can make it.

So whats the deal with the FOOD at said BBQ? are there BBQ pits at this park? Assuming BYOB. are their numerous BBQ pits?

I've spent the last year rebuilding my car. I'm hoping to get some BBQing done at this BBQ! LOL

Justin, you could talk to Clint and he could tow the wagon there... and we could all look at it and admire how cool it looks... then you could have him haul it home.
