Skinny black wires w/metal end that plugs in back of instrument cluster
Morning,
My instrument cluster is all ready to do its job, even with new rheostat. After I got everything plugged back up everything worked except for the climate control lights, and lights in the console that control the windows. I tried to look ahead for problems; that's why I went ahead & replaced the rheostat before putting it back in. Looking at the black skinny wires, they plug into where some lights are on the back of the cluster, and I noticed that they go toward the dash where the climate control lights are, and probably down to the console. Does anyone think I could have got one of the plugs in the wrong place (three on one side toward the dash, and two on the drivers side toward the rear light switch)? One other thing that's got me. When I plugged all the connections back I had left over one female connector with four holes, and one male with four prongs on the instrument cluster- but there is no way I can get them to fit. If you are looking at the cluster the four prong connector is on the left side of the speedometer, down a little bit. If anyone could point me in the right direction I sure would appreciate it. I think you are referring to fiberoptic cables
These "wires: actually carry light. there are several spots for them to plug into the back of the dash light bulb positions. Cheers Dan
