96 E300 REAR DOOR PANEL REMOVAL
 

Hi guys, I have a problem with my rear window, it keeps falling down I think somethings lose. How do you remove the rear door panel of a 96 E300? Thanks in advance!

Your window regulator is probably broken. The cheap ($50) chinese replacements don't last. Go OEM.

There used to be something in the DIY link on removing a door panel. IIRC there are screws at the door handle, ash tray and arm rest areas. There are press in plastic clips all along the bottom and sides. A 2" putty knife and twisting motion will pop them out. They are ~4" apart. Once free it just lifts up and off. Search W210 Door panel and you should find pictures.
