Quick help, 3/2 switch connections

I just need a picture or a diagram of how the vacuum hoses go fro the 3/2 switches on the valve cover. 1982 300td, Egr delete. I just got some new switches and plug thingies for the vacuum lines, but I think that I screwed up which hose goes from which switch to the vacuum lines.

Because of that last point quoted from your post, every vacuum component to/from the valvecover is useless.

I did not know that.

Next question then, how do I get the vacuum to the transmission to be where it needs to be without the Egr valve?

Replace the two 3-way connectors at the main vacuum harness with straight couplers.

Done, but no real change. I've got all of the tubing, I might hook up the EGR valve again to the 3/2 switches, put everything back to basics and start all over again.

I'm going to check the transmission where the bowden cable and the vacuum line goes in. I've been having problems with the Bowden cable- it's about as tight as it can get and the transmission is still blasting through first and second to get to third, where it will stay depending on how much gas I give it. Shifting has some moderate flair, nothing that brings the engine over 2500 rpm or lasts more then a fraction of a second.

You've adjusted the Bowden cable to shift quickly. I have mine out as far as I want it and have to lift the accelerator to shift into fourth before 55 mph when being aggressive.
The further out it is, the longer it'll stay in each gear when under heavy acceleration.

Here is the SD, listen closely at second number 2 (chirp). No resonators, just a straight pipe back to an ANSA muffler.

Toomany- the problem I seem to have is that it goes from 1st to 2nd to 3rd before 2k, and then sticks in 3rd under WOT until I let off the gas and then shifts into 4th. I've also got a fair bit of flair, but only under WOT, if I'm lazy on the throttle then there's almost no flair and it shifts super smooth, just too soon.

But I also need to put in some new injectors and a valve adjustment, so we'll see how much of an effect that has on things as well. Everything in these old cars is connected I've discovered, so it'll be interesting to see how the car evolves.
