Problems replacing motor mounts - 240D Auto

I attempted to install new motor mounts yesterda, and ran into some problems.

I was able to remove the 8MM bolt from underneath on the driver's side, but could NOT get the arm to separate from the old mount. I jacked up the engine and jumped up and down on the bumper, and all it would do was stretch the old rubber mount. No separation at all...there is also no real way to get at it with a prybar and I've already bent my heat shields quite badly trying. Any suggestions?

The other problem is the 8MM bolt os the pass side stripped . The bolt appears to be frozen, and when I tried to remove it, the allen just rounded out. Any way to remove this other than drilling it out?

You can remove the complete Arm where it bolts to the Block.

In our DIY section some have Drilled out the stripped Bolt head.

I have not read of the Motor Mounts sticking like you say. Is there any Engine Shock Absorbers still attached yet?
