I feel your pain, it's happened to everyone. It's a shame that people treat each other like these.

I paid $100 for it. And I bought it off this forum.

No I didn't ask enough questions.

It's just not possible to state it any better. (the above)

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. You want to think that folks are being honest- that folks would treat others like how THEY want to be treated, but from time to time, stuff like this just happens. At least it was only 100 bucks, it could have been a lot more distasterous.

It was a customer of mine which is sad that I have to let him down because I was shipped junk.

The for sale sticky says peach parts doesn't want anything to do with scams so I had no plans to contact a moderator.

I asked you "What was the sellers response when you complained that it did not meet your expectations"?

You still haven't told us. Now you have reported the seller for fraud even though you pointed out above and admitted it was your own ignorance that was the problem?

The government is not going to help you, not because they "cannot do anything", but rather they will not. Have you called the sellers Mommy? I am sure you have told your mommy before asking the govt. for help. Maybe they can get it taken care of for you.

If its a member, I believe you have a moral responsibility to let all the moderators know who you are talking about. The owner (web master) should also be informed as it impacts on the integrity of his site. I hope you have sent appropriate PM's to all your buddies on here. I think it would be ok to make a comment along the lines of who you would not deal with without giving details as to why.
It sounds like we have a second rate fleabay seller lurking.

So....apparently no credit card involved else you could easily get credit from card company, ass hole just didn't deal on the up & up. You really don't have a way to recoupe your $$. Go ahead & blast him publicly on the boards so we know to be ware. Truth doesn't qualify as slander.

He never replied to my email when I said I was unhappy with the product. I contacted him before I started this post. Sorry I missed your question. I haven't heard jack out of him.

I was being sarcastic about not asking enough. I showed you the picture he sent me in my first post. He sent that to me, thats not a file photo I found, that's what HE sent me. Then I showed pictures of what showed up at my house. Two very different things. Then I quoted his comment out not mailing junk. Do I think anything will become of the IC3? No, but maybe they'll send a threatening email or something. By not doing anything it sends the message that this kind of BS is okay.

What Junkman said. You shouldn't include your opinion, mention only your observations and let readers decide what to make of it. Post the picture you were sent before paying and the pictures of what you received. List your efforts to reach the seller and the response you received or how long you've been waiting for a response. Leave the door open for the seller to do the right thing, whatever that is.

I don't have a credit card, it goes straight to my checking account, stupid I know but I can't legally have a credit card in Ohio. I'm taking the burn on $100. I'm a big boy, I can afford it. However its the principle that matters. Someone is mailing garbage around the world and thinks its okay.

The picture at the very beginning of the thread is the picture he sent me. I would pay to mail the item back at my cost if he will refund the whole $100.

This bumper is junk, it does not look anything like the photograph you initially sent me. I would appreciate my money back. I've attached photos of the bumper, this bumper is completely unusable.

Get with the program! This issue has been rehashed numerous times and for anybody
who can read the responsibilities are laid out in straight forward simple language!

The only likely and logical outcome from “crybabying” to someone who has already told you they are in no way responsible is the Parts section being removed from the forum! The many, many members who have bought and sold via the parts forum and anyone who might in the future would be the ones impacted!

Even the original poster knows this, he read the stickey! I commend him for accepting his measure responsibility also, and in the end it's a good lesson to learn cheaply rather than when your spending a couple thousands!

The original poster has his reasons for attempting to resolve the matter his way, you might not agree with him but squealing that he should bring it to the attention of the forum’s owners and moderators despite the clearly posted notice is ……

Sometimes you've just got to be a big boy and take your medicine, Mommy can't make all the boo boo go away!

Buyer Beware!
________________________________________
Let me make this PERFECTLY CLEAR...

MercedesShop will take absolutely NO RESPONSIBILITY WHATSOEVER for any transactions between members. It is BUYER BEWARE.

We will only support the parts we sell...ie-
If a member has a problem with a part they bought from Fastlane we will make it right.

BUT...
If a member gets ripped off by another member they are on their own. NO EXCEPTIONS! We do NOT want to get involved in ANY WAY.
