ADA adjustment on OM602 NA
ADA = atmospheric pressure-dependent full-load stop (non turbo version of an ALDA)
I know I won't get much power increase, but any gain is welcome. Plus, it is always possible it has failed and is causing me a loss in power. Before I go to adjust it, CCW for more oomph, how much adjustment is there? How much adjustment would you start with, 1/4, 1/2, full turn? can it fall apart if you turn it too much? I don't want to damage it either. Just want too know what I'm getting into before I do it. Any tips? I have a good diagram and description of how it works, but can't upload it. |

what altitude are you driving at?
if you are below 1000' you could remove it altogether and see what it does. that way if it makes no difference in power, you just put it back on. no harm no foul.
