Compression Test Quick Question
When I remove the fuel injectors, will I necessarily need to replace the heat shields/washers?
Thanks in advance. Jay

what they said...
also, odds are good you will need to clean the threads, and the shield seat as well. however, if you leave the injectors in place for your compression test, and use the glow plug holes, you can avoid messing with the shields. look over the base of the injectors well, look for signs of leakage or carbon and see if you wanna do a compression test without pulling them. it's a good time to get spray pattern and pop pressure tested while you're at it.
