If you have if figured all out by 18, why are you asking for our input?
I always like to hear what others would do or suggest especially since you all know more about the cars/have owned ones I havnt. I may be only 16 but I try to contantly learn.

Since you're in high school, already own two cars in your sig. area. I don't know that I'd be buying a third Mercedes-Benz. I'd opt for a beater Toyota/Honda, at least until I got out of school (including college/trade school). Having three cars would have to cost you some coin in licensing, insurance, repairs and maintenance I would think....
I currently have the 300sd for sale, so theres one down. And if I decided on something different the 92 would be sold eventually. As of right now my parents only requir me to pay insurance on one car...thank goodness. So haveing 3 cars will never be a problem. Toyota or honda wont happen unless someones gives it to me. I like to have some individuality, and I mainly express that through my cars. No one else has anything like this in our city, and I like that.

Here's an idea - how about NO cars until you graduate college or trade school? I'm 59 years old and have only owned a total of two Mercedes-Benz cars for the past 20 years of my life. I was raised old school by parents that did not allow us to own cars while we lived at home even if we had money to buy them. My folks provided necessary transportation and paid for all our advanced education for my Brothers and I until we either A) graduated from college with a 4-year degree, or B) left home and bought our own car. My filosofy is that a student living at home, doesn't need the monetary drag, diversion and the expense of an automobile, when the focus should be on preparing through education to earn a lot of money when they leave the nest. Not pour endless thousands into project cars while in the nest - instead of studying. Like I said, I'm old school. Take it FWIW, but it's an idea that pays huge dividends to those that benefit from it by waiting 'til after graduation to buy their first car, with their own earnings. That's how I did it anyway.

There's a few "big-wheels" here there and elsewhere that have unpaid college loans that may not exist, had they not spent thousands on old cars while in school. The allure of "acting rich" when you are young is a big draw to try and resist.

That failed - I'd do a $500.00 beater Honda/Toyota.
