Spectra Radiators any good?
Anyone had any experience with Spectra radiators in w123s? They are sold by Autozone and ********.
Are they as good as Nissen or Behr? Autzone's website states.. "Built to meet or exceed all OE specifications. Validated for fit, form, and function." Also has a Limited Lifetime warranty.

I have installed a number of Spectre radiators in friend's and neighbor's domestic vehicles. All were made in Canada. All fit as advertised and seemed to be of reasonable quality. Given the ease of replacement in a W123, I don't think that you can go wrong with a lifetime warranty. Realistically, there probably aren't many W123's that will outlast their second radiator.
That said, I did find a Nissens radiator with a delivered price almost identical to a Spectre at AZ after sales tax. No lifetime warranty, though. Last edited by tangofox007; 09-22-2010 at 03:31 PM.
