1987 300 sdl key and cylinder

I have a 1987 300 sdl and the key will not turn. I cannot find a thread on how to remove the key and cylinder. Can anyone help with this. Thanks in advance. Jack

Do you have the removal instructions nearby?

It's an "in between" position and you'll need the removal tool (or home made wire hanger cut at an angle)

The black ring on my 123 was binding against the dash which made it very hard to unthread, Be patient and it will come off
