power loss and limping mode

i have a g400 cdi

while driving at 60mph suddennly the car lost all power rpms would not go above 2000 rpm and lost the turbo boost sound . it went into limp mode .

i shut off the car and restarted it worked well for about two minutes and then again it went into limp mode

could it be the maf sensors ? or fuel problems

any ideas accepted

More data needed

Year
Model: G400 CDI
VIN#
and trouble codes would help this diagnosis.

Have a great day.

Answer

You must connect a diagnostic scan tool to check stored engine codes.

Without codes = guessing could cost you $8000.00 in parts/labor and still not repair the problem.

The G400 CDI engine is known for having vacuum and fuel related issues, this can be the injectors or the high pressure rail system. These engines are very sensitive to fuel quality.
