Bolts for Engine Mounts / shocks (W123) - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I'm working on replacing Oil Cooler lines and engine mounts, shocks, and shock mounts. One of my mounts is missing the shock mounts and shocks completely. I'm thinking I will need whatever bolts that mount the shock mounts to the bracket. I did buy the shock bushing kit that contains bolts for holding the shock in place. In an older post I found these two bolts listed. Can anyone think of any other sizes I may need?

2x M12x40 -(what thread size?)
4x M8x18 -(what thread size?)

Also, how much tolerance in length do I have? I found some M8x20 but not 18. Will a little bit either way matter for these applications?

You can order the parts from either here(FastLane / AllPartsExpress) or parts.com.

XXXX stuff ships right from Mercedes parts depots in oversized boxes (so far that I have noticed)

With things like engine mounts and stuff in that general area, I went with the MB stuff..didnt want to mess around with different stuff

Thanks, I think that helps. I won't know until I get home to look over the parts that arrived, but my hunch is that all of that hardware that goes onto the shock is included in the bushing kit I ordered. Is item #38 on there the engine shock mount upper? I was thinking that it bolted to the bracket but in that diagram it looks like there is only a bolt on the shock holding it on.

Item 38 was not valid for your car, the EPC told me.
