Since the Bent Wrenches make the job easier they make it more likely that I am going to do the job when it needs to be done.

Last week I changed my Valve Stem Seals. During that process the Valves themselves got rotated to different positions.
At the end when I was done with the Valve adjusting part of that job I cranked the Engine over several times as the other member stated and rechecked the Valves.
Sure enough most had to be adjusted again.

So I actually did 2 Valve adustments. I feel the Bent Wrenches were a aid to getting the job done easier and faster.

Like the folks who can change their Glow Plugs with out removing the Fuel Injection Lines; everyone has to do what suites their personal abilities.

how could you change the seals without needing to adjust the valves? don't you have to remove the adjustment nuts to change the seals?

You indeed have to remove the rocker Arm assy., the Valve Adj. Nute, the Upper Spring Seat and the Valve Spring just to get at the Seals.

The Nute is much smaller and can fit in there better. I think you can get them at the pet store, but they are not house broken

The first valve adjustment I ever did was with a couple of normal Husky brand open end wrenches. But the injectors were out, so they weren't in the way of the wrenches.
