Yard finds in SF

So I'm back in SF until sunday and went to the JY yesterday. Wow! Dozens of w126's of all sorts. One car has the ultra rare tri-y exhaust manifolds- I'm gonna pull them today. I almost rust free w108 250S. 8 r107's! Many w116's- and more than a few of those and others had the euro 2.8 engine. There is a set of ronal penta's -- 8J x 16 et 11. One rim is slightly bent. Five half way good hubcaps in med-dark blue. I bought the hubcaps, and may get the penta's today. They'll be about $100 for the 4. Should I get them? I already have a set of alloy hubcap rims with newer tires, a set of 14 bundt's with crappy tires, a nice set of 15 hole w126 flat face with brand new michelins and a set of 8 spoke CLK's with ok tires. Do I really need a set of penta's? Anyone here in SF that wants to buy them from me if I pull the penta's? The bent one can be repaired I'm sure. They have lugs but no center caps- but then I have many different size center caps in the garage.

RIGHT NOW!

If I lived in SF, I would be leaving the office right now. Just to get to the candy store and look around.

SF means "South Florida" to me- sorry for the confusion. BTW I left the penta's- they are at the U-Pull and Pay on Benoist Farms road just west of the turnpike off Southern BLVD. I did get the Tri-Y's, and a trunk lid off a r107 for someone here. Man I love the yards. If I had more time I woulda pulled the differential off the euro 500SEL for my wagon. I also get voltage regulators out of alternators. Back to NY on Sunday until the end of the month when I drive the boat back down the coast to "SF", then fly up and drive the wagon down the coast also- via I-95 instead of the ocean.

BTW- I have in my garage an original AMG front spoiler made for the w116 chassis- and I don't have a w116. I also have a 1972 107 front bumper- like the euro bumpers but with the "bumperettes". Both are for sale if anyone is interested. Yep- I buy stuff for MB's I don't have-

If I lived in South Florida, I'd be at the beach tomorrow.

As a boat captain and x-dive guide/instructor who traveled the world like a rock star's poor brother the beach is for going with my three boys, and today the youngest two have a chess tourny. No yard runs until early Nov. Until then it's fishing in Montauk for the rest of the month. Wow- rereading that I again realized how lucky, honored and humbled I am that I have the life I have.

Fuel cap

I lost my fuel gas cap yesterday after getting fuel. Can you grab me one and send it to me? Hopefully it'll fit my 1991 300d.

Email me if you can get one.

Anyone down there keen to pulling the Ronals for me? I will gladly pay a premium for the trouble (to be decided before hand obviously). Also I would gladly pay the full price plus shipping for 1. That would leave quite a bit of money on the table for the person helping me.
