Turn signal relay fix 300sd

Problem: light will come on but turn signal not blinking on & off.

Fix: Pull instrument cluster, remove big black relay, clean posts & apply
die-electric grease. Fixed problem.

This may apply to other W126 models. I believe W123 relay is under center shifter console.

Thought I would post this as a short cut for those with the problem as I had to
read through a few posts chasing down false leads to get to this fix.
If you have this problem I would try this first as it is so easy.

Jeff

good advice, but this should be your second attempt at a repair.
first attempt should be to turn on and off your emergency flashers.
then if the turn signals don't work move to the relay.
