Hi all,

I've once again joined the ranks of the Mercedes diesel brethern and thought I would share something that I am involved with right now that might interest you. If it doesn't, it should.

At our school where I work, we have started a team for Movember. Movember is a movement where men grow a moustache for the month of Movember (formerly known as November) in support of Prostate cancer research. Here is my link to sign up:

My team will see what we can do about organizing an outing for the Mo-rcedes to drive the gentlemen around in. What better of a gentlemanly vehicle than a classic diesel Mercedes sedan?

I figured this was the right thing to do, as Mercedes is one of the three major sponsors of Movember. As I lost my paternal grandfather years ago to prostate cancer, I am very grateful to Mercedes for sponsoring a cause close to my heart, and one that will possibly affect several gentlemen on this forum in the future.

So come join my team. Or donate a couple of bucks. Better yet, start your own team. Better than that, let's get a Diesel Discussion forum team going. I don't give a damm about the little prizes...it's the fund for research that count.

September is men's prostate awareness month. Many hospitals have annual prostate screening days where you get your PSA and digital test done for free. I wouldn't miss it for the world every year. Men 40 and over need to git r done every year.
