The lines between the air intake manifold and the ALDA, the lines to the turbo in particular. Also, did you get the socket to yank the fuel filter outlet screen? The goal is to isolate if you have typical fuel or air issues before moving to the less common causes.

I cleaned out the line from the intake to the over boost and over bost to aldA. Also cleaned the line from crank case to waste gate thing.

Did you clean the banjo bolts on these lines as well? One on the intake, one on the ALDA.

That is what I found really gummed up a while back.

They simply unscrew from the intake and ALDA. You should take them out and clean them well.

Were the lines very bad?

Someone correct me if i'm wrong. I am used to working on a 617, rather than a 603, but these should be the same, right?

not quite the same, no banjo bolt, just a fitting screwed into the intake, with a hose barb for the alda hose. same principal though.

On my SDL I found that the changeover valve and the small plastic line running to it was plugged solid with soot. Cleaning that out would let the car go past 80. I don't recall the nipple itself being plugged.

No cat, the 350SDL never came with a cat it had the later inclined-injection and cleaner burning so it needed no trap-ox / cat.

On the 350SDL the changeover valve is on the driver's side fender by the round blue plastic device.

On the 300SDL the changeover valve is on the false firewall in "front" of the brake booster.
