87 603 trans to 87 602 engine?

Will an auto trans from an 87 300d swap over to a 2.5 turbo 190d?

That would be nice if it did. Then the market for our 603 300d transmissions is larger . Mine still sits here btw, no takers

the manuals from the 190's fit the 603's. so I'd guess they would fit... weather or not they would drive properly is another issue...

I believe that the 722.4xx and 722.3xx both have the same case. However, the TC will probably be different, shift points and 1-3 ratios different, and the output flange different.
