350SDL Fuel Injectors-How Long Do They Last?
Can anyone comment on how many miles 350SDL injectors are generally good for?
Do new injectors need to be calibrated by the installing shop or are they received by the shop ready to install? Generally what could one expect to pay for a set of new injectors installed by a good indie shop in today's world? Thank you. Last edited by ezrider; 11-13-2010 at 05:02 PM. |

I just replaced my originals a couple of weeks ago.
I opted to purchase entire new monark injectors, rather than just replace the nozzles. They cost ~$64 each. I installed them myself for free. It really helped my cruising speed. As other members have noticed, it feels as though I don't have to push the pedal as far to maintain speed. I even had to adjust my bowden cable to make up for the performance gained. They were worth every penny. Contact member C Sean Watts for details.

How many miles were on your injectors before you replaced them?

Injectors are good until their pattern and pop pressure are no longer acceptable. The time of service can vary greatly based on the quality of fuel you used. Have them pop tested and you will know if they need replacement.
