'99 e300 cel, 600 service help
'99 mercedes e300 on a dash it shows service key symbol and 600 can anyone tell me about it?

I believe it is just the FSS telling you that you're due for service in 600 miles.

It's primarily for your oil change interval. The FSS keeps track of how you drive and determines when the oil needs to be changed. The reset instructions are in your owners manual, involves turning the key on and off and pushing a couple buttons in a certain order. I believe they are in a thread around here also if you don't have a manual.

The symbol for oil service looks like a wrench. If you push the "0" button twice rapidly, you'll get the message: "service in xx miles" or something to that effect.

this week it came back and now says service wrench key in 500 miles

It will remind you every 100 miles. When it gets to 0, it will say "service interval exceeded by xx miles" and go back up from there.
