nice! a worthy goal for all of us! makes me feel good having spent the entire day under/in/on the car knowing its not all work being put in on something that doesnt stand a chance of being around a few more (many) years!

Nice. You will be sending for the 500K kilometer badge within a year, most likely.
I just hit 320K in my 84 a few days ago. The numbers on my odometer are not as nicely lined up as yours. Mine slant in one direction and I assume it is because the gears that turn more frequently are more worn. My numbers are also not as bright and clean as yours. I would like to take out the unit and clean them. Maybe this winter.
