what would you do?

today i went and checked out a low-mileage 85 300D turbo with some quarter panel damage. the whole rear right is wrecked, though the damage appears to not have extended to the frame or any other integral part of the car. it is clear that it was taken very good care of by the current owner, by the condition of the car compounded with the glove box full of shop receipts. i have been searching for a good om617 and transmission to drop into my 240 (the transmission slips constantly, and i'd really appreciate the increase in power), and this drivetrain fits the bill perfectly. as far as the damage is concerned, check out the pictures. also, i must make mention of some troublesome-looking rust bubbles above the rear left wheel well. so, as nice as this car is as a whole, with these sorts of issues, is it essentially a parts car, or can it be fixed for a reasonable amount?

I would find out how much it would cost to fix it. Except for the damage, it looks like a nice example of a 300D, too nice to part out.
