Maybe he can locate another one
I'm fairly sure that Tyler knows where a nice white wagon is. Completely sorted out and a daily driver.
Not cheap though......

Trouble with a w126 trunk is it's deep rear-to-front but not very tall. The load can be long and wide, but it can't be bulky or tall at all before you have serious difficulties scraping it in and out. I've transported a friend in a wheelchair as well as a motorized scooter a few times and particularly with the scooter... even with the handlebar folded down flat after the seat was removed, you had to be a pretty strong lifter to negotiate the thing down under the lip of the trunk and then set it in there. Definitely would go with a wagon if that was going to be a daily routine.

Now a Mercury Grand Marquis (gas engine so not applicable to the original poster) on the other hand... you could almost stand up in that trunk and still close the lid. I'd pay anything if my w126es had that much space.

For the money in a large RWD gasser I'd bypass the Lexota and buy a '00-up Grand Marquis. Nice (air) ride, more space, 27+ mpg, and in my experience driving them 80,000miles/year very reliable. I put $650 in groceries in the trunk of one of mine at Sam's Club and still closed the trunk.

Nothing wrong with the Toyota Senator / Lexus LS400, I just don't care much for their parts pricing and find the styling very common/boring, ... which makes it an overpriced Mercury.

Hmm I'm 6'00 and I still fit comfortably in my 300D. Heck I was able to sit comfortably in my old Honda Accord. The only time I've ever had an issue was when my mother drove and moved the seat all the way up.

I don't mean to ask an odd question, but I only weigh 160 lbs. Are you guys just really buff or what?

Torso height makes more of a difference in how you fit in a car then overall height. I don't fit well in a W123, my head rubs on the sunroof... but I'm only 5'11"

I fit fine in the 300CD but the seats in those are lower that the sedans.
