Diesel W126 Wagon??

I'll probably get a warning about this, but has there ever been a W126 diesel wagon in the US? If so, what a sweet ride this would be!!!!

Mercedes Benz didn't build them. A company in Europe was building them. So the question is, did said coachbuilder ever mess with SDs or SDLs. And then, did any get imported to the US by individuals. I've never seen a W126 wagon in the US, all the ones I've seen were actually in the UK.

Never seen any in the U.S. and the pictures I've seen weren't with the TD taillights but rather regular w126 tails, looked a little off.

Yeah, I have seen that version also, as I googled it. I do not know which one I like better. Both are pretty trick rides!

From the German Kombinationskraftwagen meaning a dual purpose vehicle, passengers and/or cargo. Used commonly to describe the type 2 VW van.

it would be nice, but I'd want it powered by a 2.7 sprinter engine, or something a tad more powerful than a 603. I would also want it to have 4wheel SLS.

Looks ugly. A W126 is to have luxury, not haul stuff around. You use your other car, that being a W123 wagon, for that.
