vacuum for rear headrests

Hi guys

you are always a great help, I had the issue of rear headrests not falling on the 124 E300D, I removed seat and applied vacuum to the individual lines and they fell, I was getting no vacuum with engine running to the main feed line. Tracing it back it led to a 3 way joint with what I believe is a yellow filter above the brake servo. - The Y piece has 2 lines not connected - and I could not find any vacuum pipes to connect to. The only one connected is a red with blue stripe - the other 2 are empty.

Does anyone have a vacuum diagram of this car. I need to know where should I find this main vacuum pipe and the what line should be connected to the other piece

I sort of figured it out but I dont know if its correct or not.

The PO did some stupid stuff for unknown reasons in the fusebox/brake servo area - as the ABS cable and another connector were not in their neat fastening clips the MB provided on the fuse box case. all cable ties were cut too.

A gray vacuum line coming from the switch on the manifold with vacuum when engine runs is in the engine room sitting where all the vacuum lines are together. This certain line did not have a plastic hard line after the rubber joint like every other line. But a very unmercedes like generic rubber hose that went directly to a green line in the firewall behind the brake booster.

What I figured is that the multipoint junction behind the brake vacuum servo has the rear headrest vacuum port so it must need solid vacuum with engine running, I'll just buy some hard line from MB connect it neatly to the end piece and the green line can occupy the free port on the tee - completing everything.

maybe someone can chime in

I got some hard plastic vacuum line and fished it under the brake servo with the rest of the bunch of vacuum hoses - The multipoint junction was loose on the plastic pipes - so I took it out and tie wrapped every rubber connection for a solid joint.

the headrests work perfectly now.

The one red line that was connected to the U bend this multiport was broken off/sheared about a foot away - not connected to anything (I just put a rubber end pipe on it to block it off to eliminate the vacuum leak due to it) - and I could not find anything to connect it to anyway. it seems that a manual showing all the vacuum connections is very hard to find for this car.

Can anyone please have a look at their car behind the brake servo to see where the red vacuum line goes to from this point, Ive seen the line going towards the fuse box in some pictures and some show it going towards the wiper assy
