Boost? You need a gauge. If there's boost and no power, either fuel delivery or the ALDA is not seeing boost.

The electronics on that car make it a little more of a pain, plenty of good resources here to back-date the boost system (fortunately) so you don't have to "re-invent the wheel".

Be careful of those '95s, they explode without notice, and I know a guy who likes risks who would take it off of your hands, ... just to protect you. I'd have my spare 603 in it by New Year's Eve. How many miles and how's the interior?

The SOV arm? I'm talking about the overboost-protection valve on the driver's side, boost line goes to the bottom and ALDA to the middle. No linkage, just electric.

Ask Vstech about the engine possibilities.
(Down in Tarheel Land, just south of you)

ONLY $800. ? That's Insane of the seller.

(AND you are SICK,your only hope is that your insurance will decline to cover
the next 4 diesels you try to buy.)

Oh, and for the 124.128's Tank...
Startron will eliminate all the Black FUNGUS goo in it.
Startron? What is that? I have used SEAFOAM, BG44, and Molly.

Startron

Pick up an 8 Oz. or 16 Oz. bottle at any West Marine.

'Throw the whole container's worth into a 1/4 full Tank and then fill with Diesel.

It will KILL the FUNGUS infestation AND THEN break down the little DEAD corpi
into such small particles (Through Enzyme action) that they pass through the
Filters WITHOUT clogging and BURN in the engine.

"Moly" and "BG 44" are great.

UNSOLICITED RANT:
SEAFOAM is DEATH to a Diesel I.P. and the ENGINE it regulates !

New SOV installed

Well I have installed a new SOV. The shut off arm no longer moves with the throttle. I have noticed a little more power during acceleration, but still very sluggish especially when below 80F operating temp. I received the new wastegate actuator from AP I believe that they sent me the wrong unit. I will post pics. later today I used the part number listed in the forum.

Well the deer hit car may not buff out. If the deal is good and the frame arm was not forced down it could work out well and easy.

I get a little paranoid and have the frame alignment checked even when I suspect it may not have moved. Nothing like getting all the tin on and find things have moved after.

Also most times the primary pulling should be done with the twisted metal still in place if required. That car for a thousand with the claimed milage would be a nice find in my opinion. The body shops would want truly more than the car is worth to repair this so unless you are willing to do the work yourself it is scrap.

WoooooHoooo
Changed the secondary fuel filter again. After treating the tank I guess alot of stuff broke free from the fuel tank walls. Small enough for the screen filter, but too large for the secondary filter. I did not get around to the waste-gate MOD yet, but I plan to. For the record as discussed before fuel = power. All shift issues went away boost is great!!!! I got a warning for doing 95 in a 65 mph zone. Used the old military ID, and malfunctioning cruise control excuse
