Let us know if you head out there for parts. I think I might have a lead on a W116 back seat frame, but who knows if it will pan out. Still looking for decent bamboo MB-Tex front and rear seat skins.

Okay, I'll be home. Just let me know for sure and I will be sitting in front of my computer waiting for the pics of the seats so I can let you know whether to get them or not (chances are they are probably in a puddle underneath another car, knowing the wrecking yards, haha).

I remember one time I was pulling a perfect set of door panels from a W115 and had them stacked on a seat next to me. This guy came walking by, snatched one of them and pulled it out, made the others fall onto the ground, then threw it on the ground under the car next to me and laid on it so he wouldn't get wet. I was so mad.

I notice that back seats usually seem to end up getting pulled from the car and used to lay on under the car. Hopefully that didn't happen to these ones.

HEY! There are two blue almost perfect seats from an 85 560sel. There is a little wear but I don't remember seeing any rips. Probably tex...BUT...it has heated seats and the orthopedic bladders? with the little number dials on the seat belt reciever. Pick and pull wants 27$ per seat.

One thing I did see is that the bottom of the seat track was a bit rusty...may make it not worth it. Unless you can swap yours in. Wonder how hard it would be to swap over my grey leather onto that seat.

ok. I got a transmission for Thayer, a set of calipers for whunter, and LOTS of stuff for my wagon. I got a set of 4piston caliper equipped rotors, still on the struts, and kept the lower control arms, and springs from a gasser... I hear they are thinner... maybe it'll lower my front end? they came out without much fanfare at the yard. helps to pull stuff from a car with the engine already removed. gonna seriously upgrade the brakes in my wagon!

most of the 116 was stripped when I got there. front seats still there, nothing else. dash/IP/rear seat etc. all stripped out.
LOTS of 201's still there. several 126's one 123, a pair of 124's and what's left of the 107... I may be convinced to head back there next week... lemme know.
