strange noise when turning left
 

I am also experiencing a strange noise when turning left. The noise is kindof like a purring noise, very similar to the sound that some cars make when they are in reverse. My ps fluid level is fine, and the fluid appears and smells normal. Any ideas?

If you can recreate the noise, open your PS pump lid and see if there is a foam being created. This will tell you if it is a sealing issue somehwere and air is getting in.


If the noise is acompanied by a slight vibration, especially when the car is moving slow, I would suggest servicing the the belt and tensioner system.
