Nice find, and no ASR. I could sure use some parts from that beast, ... PM me if you need any non-ASR bits for the engine.

it's a diamond in the rough! it looks like it's been *****-kicked by someone who doesn't care about their cars. it still amazes me how cheap you can get 124-chassis cars. people are basically giving them away now, and they are such fantastic cars when they are sorted out and/or well maintained.

On that front bumper. I have one, in MI, will cost more to ship it to you than just to buy a used one locally, it will probably go in the dumpster next week (unfortunate but it's life). You can use an earlier one, just drill the holes for the metal horseshoes and paint it.

The rear hatch is different '87-'89 and '90-'95, the bottom trim piece is mounted differently and has the bright strip on it. Otherwise, an early hatch will work.

You have my exact wagon. It will be good times getting her back on the road.

The answers to my first three questions were

yes - you need new hydraulic spheres for the rear suspension
no - its not the spark plugs, its the overvoltage protection relay
Yes - you will need to eventually replace the engine wiring harness, but not till it acts up.

Oh yeah, and it will need a new evaporator

(thats just what happened to me)

If you lock the wagon while the hood is released but not up (in safety mode) and then you try and raise the hood, the alarm will go off.

Walmart does not sell 4in speakers at any stores in NC

Do you have the vacuum controlled economy meter on your cluster?

Looks like you'll be busy for a bit! Not a bad looking ride, though. Now, about that price?
