Starter is sticking, afraid Im gonna burn it up. Keeps turnig even with the key is switched off. Could it be in the key switch?

take the wires off the junction block on the passenger's fender. get a meter and measure the voltages when you turn the key. if the key powers and unpowers the switch is OK, the problem is likely a buggered up solenoid. I've seen it plenty of times. the contacts in there weld themselves together... but test the switch first.
