Where are you looking for it? Talk to Lee on Peachparts. That is where I got it from.

Pulling the head is a LOT of work.

I won't go there unless you have exhausted ALL possibilities. What actually is your problem? You have a broken GP in the head that you cannot take out? There should be quite a few threads here to extract broken GP.

got 4 gp out safely and and have one without the threads in the way and the one stuck in. If I crank the car can anything slip into the engine? Not sure what the prechambers on the other end look like??? I will crank.... I have not messed up the threads or drilled the wrong angle.... I have taken my time....

You have 2 GP stuck that you cannot get out? Have you try blow torch them or use penetration oil?

Can you get a socket to them or they are completely rounded? If they are rounded then it is no different from extracting a bolt. I would do a search on the data base to see how they can be extracted. May be you need to drill a hole and use an extraction bit. If the worst come to the worst then pulling the head may be the only way out.

Good luck.

Have you tapped the inside of the GP shaft and used a home made puller on it yet?

OTOH, maybe pulling the head might not be a bad idea. You get to have the head reworked and find out whether things are sealing right and if not, get it fixed. I had to replace all the intake valves and most of the exhaust so I said "Screw it, new valves". Can't remember what was wrong with the valve right now.

I believe I had already mentioned that the Factory Made Reamers use a 7mm Reamer on the end; you would have to cut down the Reamer and do what is needed to mount it in an old Glow Plug.

The Reamers can be purchased from any company that supplies stuff for Machinest. There might even be a Company in your area.
The draw back is that if you only buy one Reamer from the supply company there is a shipping charge if you do not buy one local.

When I started off making the longer Reamers I was not using a Glow Plug Body to mount the Reamer in; see thumbnail.
But, it was a lot of work to make them that way.

This seems like what you need to be doing. Shouldn't be too hard to find the detailed write up searching 606 glow plugs.

Here is my experience with drilling a plug out - E300TD glow plug stuck/broken

Haven't heard from the original poster in a month, so I'm assuming he figured things out. I haven't checked this forum for a long time and I'm likely too late, but I do have the proper reamer and tap and a few other things needed or helpful for removing glow plugs on the E300's.
