When I got my 85 from my Dad it had that book for the W126 and another book with black cover. I have used them for reference when talking to the stealership.

I've got one as well. They're all over ebay for $20-$70. Interestingly enough, I was at the dealer a while back and the parts guy had to pull one of these out of the bookshelf to find a part. I guess sometimes the EPC isn't good enough...

Tristan, I don`t see any part numbers except what is on the front cover.
Mine is cataloge "G" dated 11/79 for models 123. the PC numbers on the right refer to the model ID#.
PC 007 = 616.912
PC 009 = 115.954
PC 037 = 110.984
PC 167 = 617.912

They come up on E-Bay from time to time.

Thanks for the info Charlie, Beastie and pawoSD. I'm old fashioned I'd rather have a paper copy - I'll keep my eyes peeled on ebay - thanks.

These little books do cover every component on the car, not just the engine. these books just lack the part #`s.

True, but EPC is just a scan of those images in the book.... so the clarity of the images in the book is better. Just like the print version of the service manual vs. the electronic one.

Army, I agree. My copy is the soft back paper copy. Heck I still look at the paper copies of shop manuals I have for cars I no longer own and remember back to the job and or jobs I did on those cars ( Subaru CV joint/axle replacement for example)
