yup, keeping the thread.
in my opinion aside from hurt feelings about posts before the seller showed up on the thread, (and I dealt with that with the seller) and some defense responses, that I deleted. the thread has merit. I'm not closing it, or deleting it.
everybody play nice now.
thank you.

These are publicly listed feedback about sold items. I am sure that most who dabble in second hand parts can have problems with descriptions. As has been said before, best be careful.
Maybe this ebay store is very good, Who knows, the above mentioned ebay members were not happy.

Cosmetic appearances are not a good guide. Parts recyclers seldom know the history of what they sell, buyer be ware !!
FWIW, I wouldn't buy jack squat from an ebay seller with that type of feedback.

No way in h#ll! Too risky!

believe me. moderators are watching. you don't have to point out anything in the thread.

Take your good recall mod off & try & destroy your turbo.
I am surprised MB has a listing on it. Maybe the price bit on a new one is total BS.
I am sure mespe would not try & sell one of them. Probably would direct the person to MB for the upgrade & new turbo.

I guess I'll forget about selling my used vacuum pump on ebay. It's just sitting on the shelf, still has all ball bearings visible and no signs of wear. Less than 200,000 miles on it too. Worked perfectly when removed from the engine, pulls strong vacuum.

I owe no apology.
This member of our forum has a 100% feedback rating selling used parts after 2733 transactions.

You are attempting to criticize a member with four neutral responses over 2733 transactions.

NFW anybody can possibly do better than this with used parts.

You owe Marty an apology..........or, consider yourself a troll...........and I will ask the moderator to eliminate you from DD.

Clearly, reading an e-bay feedback profile is not within your capabilities.

I agree with BC

Mespe is an honest seller making a honest living selling used parts on eBay. 2K+ positive feedback is not easy to get.

You do NOT need to buy or post anything negative if you do NOT agree with the price. What is sold is definitely not junk. It is a free world, a seller can post it at $1K but the market will eventually regulate the price to a reasonable level. If it was me, I would have set auction style sale with a reserve. Bidding is supply and demand at its best. Mespe has a different business model and if it upsets some members, get over it.

BTW: NO dishonest sellers would have that kind of +ve feedback selling junk on eBay. Those fly-by-night sellers are in CL. The bottom line is that no one force you to enter into a good or bad transaction.

When I first read this thread, about post #4, I thought it was a forum member selling the used part.

Now I wonder if said part was not sold by a forum member, but still sold on E-bay by an unknown seller. then it would be ok to pick the item apart? or pick the seller apart or what ever?

I have seen this before, and nothing was said about it. A few years ago there was a seller "Bigbabo" that got picked apart, and don`t remember any one getting their hands slapped. HMMMM.
I bought things from him never had a problem. but there are bad sellers on e-bay as well as CL. the sellers on CL are not Fly by Nighters, I have bought things from a few, and was thinking of listing on there a few items.

If I were the man that I should be, I would not have pressed the submit button when I flamed LB40. But everyone has their quirks and that's why I am self-employed. I have this uncanny ability to press all the right buttons.

With that said, I feel a bit of regret sending that post. Just like some of the feedback that you took the time to find to try to continue your attack. Which is just human nature when I press the right buttons, which I obviously did.

Please take some time and let the anger that my prior post generated work it's way out of the system.

As I stated earlier, I typed out of anger from being hurt by statements someone made. I should be better than that. The feelings received from attacks about my products, my livelihood, during these trying economic times, coupled with insecurity got the better of me.

My goal is 100% customer satisfaction, and I feel confident in saying that I almost achieve that goal.

Brian - I'm sure that LB40 has contributed to this forum in positive ways, I do not want LB40 to get banned because he reacted to my attack.

With that said, I would like to offer the next 10 forum members 50% off any one item in my store. Make a best offer of 50% of MSRP () and include the words "ebay junk" in the terms box.

Is this true? I thought that since the PNPs had batch buyers for the Cats, they simply had rules that they would be removed with the fluids, is it hazardous somehow?

Now I'm even more attached to my spare 300D Cat.

Nice Marty, shows some class. A bit of a marketing twist though, ... which I guess is a good thing.
