I'm scheduled to be in Frankfurt April 8, Stuttgart April 9 and Zurich April 10. My original schedule was Stuttgart on the 12th, which would've meant a weekend in Stuttgart. Since I'm in and out the same day, I won't get to revisit the museum.

The good news is, I will drive from Frankfurt to Stuttgart to Zurich. Driving on the Autobahn is about as much fun as I can have with my clothes on.

If you ever get a chance to see the MB museum, allow time for the entire tour which is self paced with a tape recorder and head phones that takes you chronologically through MB automobile evolution. Also, the row of executive cars in front of the museum is worth seeing. Best of all, it's free.

Have a great day,

It truely is one of the coolest placest to go. If you go there you'll be amazed at how fancy they laid everything out. The place isn't dirty, loud, or have obnoxious kids running around. Also the gift shop and resturaunt have very good prices (I got a 6 vol set of books about all MB cars for 50DM). Plus the resturaunt is in the middle of the cars, makes for an interesting setting.

Makes you wonder how much Daimler Benz (DaimlerChrystler my ass) is losing on the deal.

Daimler is losing nothing with the museum, it's making them money. For a company their size, the museum is an inexpensive marketing tool.

Have a great day,
