Ball joint boot kit W124 ???

I can't find a ball joint boot kit for a W124. Anyone know of one? I searched the parts index and here. I found the special order kit for W126 and W123. Anyone know where to get boots for these? Joints are pretty new one boot just cracked --maybe when i took off control arm.

Oreilly says they have a universal boot. Anyone tried it? I guess its not the end of the world to get a new joints as they are only about 25.00 . But still. These boots need to hold up better.

I would get the joint, no spring compressor required... What brand was yours?

Well i used spring compressor. FSM says take off control arm for ball joint removal. I was doing it anyway though. Given hardest part of getting control arms off was getting that ball joint through bolt out, I'd say that is the way to go if you have a spring compressor handy.

It looks like two "new" ball joint boots on 4 control arms are cracked. They are lemforder i believe as they have the clear looking boot. Boy I hate ball joints on these MBs.
On the VW , a 7.00 autozone ball joint puller and 3 13 mm bolts and ball joint is out.
30 minute job start to finish. At least that's how i remember compared to this job.
