1980 300CD in PnP

Hey guys, I found a nicer condition 1980CD in Crazy Rays in Mt Airy MD.
WDB12315012005910

I usually don't post anything but this is one of the nicer cars I've seen in the PNP.

Astral Silver, Blue interior

Looks to have a Euro CCU, Euro dials (odo reads 58,000).

The interior is about 75% there, a rip in the driver's seat.

I pulled a older Blaupunkt cassette player out and put it in the first Chrysler in the front of the lot (for safe keeping).

The hood is bent, as are the chrome cowl vents. Engine looks half decent. Body is mostly there. Front bumper (US) is gone.

I'm heading back tomorrow morning. I already have two people interested in the rocker panels, underdash and a few chrome trim pieces. Let me know if you want anything.

I am willing to ship if you pay for it. I'm currently unemployed, so I spend my time job searching and picking.

PM'd you about a part.

A 1980 300CD is a N/A so I'd doubt it would have a tach.
BTW, I have a spare tach from a turbo 300CD.

The cluster is Euro.

Get your self a 12V battery for like a DeWalt drill, and some test leads. use this to see if the widow regulators/motors work. these things are expensive, also the 1/4 glass rear reg/motors are NLA.

There are a lot of coupe specific parts even though a W123, only fit the Coupe

I pulled two clusters out of the passenger's seat. Someone rudely ripped one of them from the said coupe by ripping big holes in the dash and underdash with a claw hammer.

That said, both clusters have Euro Clocks, US Speedos, and one of each (US/Euro) on the fuel/oil/temp guage. All have the chrome style needle centers. I haven't yet tested the clocks.

One of the speedos has a bent needle due to the bezel being broken.

Well, the engine is definitely a 617.952 with a Garrett turbo.
